Faulty Goods
All instruments are supplied with a minimum of 12 months manufacturer's warranty. Second-hand instruments are covered by a 30 or 90-day warranty.
If your instrument becomes faulty, firstly you must inform ST GILES MUSIC either by email at info@stgilesmusic.co.uk, by post at 16 St Giles Terrace, Northampton, NN1 2BN or by fax on (01604) 234864. Notification will not be accepted by phone.
Instruments have a ‘Return To Base’ warranty. This requires you to return the instrument, at your cost, to ST GILES MUSIC. The instrument will then be repaired and returned to you, at our cost, in the shortest possible timescale.
Damaged GoodsOrders for music books and accessories are sent by post. After receiving the items please open them as soon as possible and check the contents. Any damage must be reported to us either by email at info@stgilesmusic.co.uk, by post at 16 St Giles terrace, Northampton, NN1 2BN or by fax on (01604) 234864. Larger instruments are sent by courier. It is important that you inspect the delivery before you sign for delivery. Any damage to the outer box must be noted on the delivery sheet. After signing for the delivery please open them as soon as possible and check the contents. Notification will not be accepted by phone.
Returns policy
You have the right to cancel your order up to seven working days after receiving your goods.
To be eligible for a refund the goods must be in a saleable condition, this means that the goods must be unopened and unused, they must be in the original packaging and this must not be damaged.
The refund will be paid onto the credit or debit card on which the purchase was made and will be refunded within 14 working days of receiving the goods in an acceptable condition. The original cost of delivery will not be refunded.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to ST GILES MUSIC.
This applies to all goods supplied except CD’s, Books with CD’s, Books with DVD’s, Videos, all software, reeds and harmonicas. ST GILES MUSIC does not supply goods on a trial basis. Returns are subject to our terms and conditions but these do not affect your statutory rights.

Goods will be dispatched upon clearance of cheques, which can take up to 10 days. Orders paid for by credit or debits cards will be dispatched within 2 working days.
Please note that goods can only be sent to the card holder's address as registered with the card issuer.
St Giles Music only offer online ordering and shipping in the UK mainland.

All purchases will be processed within 24 to 48 hours upon receipt of the order. We will contact you by email or telephone during normal working hours to confirm a date for delivery.
Usual delivery time is next day from completion of the order.
Items that are not in stock at the time of your order will be put on backorder, and we will contact you during normal working hours to confirm when the item will be in stock again.
Typical delivery costs:
Small items (such as accessories or music books) from £2.00
Medium items (such as keyboards, brass or woodwind) from £8.00
Larges items (mainly digital pianos) from £39.00
Bulky orders, i.e. digital pianos, are delivered flat packed to ground floor only.
If you live within 30 miles of Northampton there is an option of the digital piano being delivered assembled, phone 01604 250905 for a quotation. This option is available nationwide for Roland digital pianos.
