80 Graded Studies for Violin brings together, in two books, a broad selection of repertoire in a variety of styles, including well-established technical studies, folk, jazz and contemporary works plus some original compositions.

The studies in Book 1 are arranged in order of increasing difficulty, according to a carefully planned technical progression from Grades 1-5. Each grade features solo studies focusing on specific areas of technique plus one accompanied piece per grade to help with intonation and for use as a performance resource.
