AURAL EXAMS
The aural exam is an important part of every practical grade exam. A range of tests are given to you, asking you to identify features in a short piece that is played to you. Sometimes this involves singing, clapping, or playing from memory. We keep a range of books to help you get the best score you can, including books full of specimen tests, and books with audio to help you practise.

THEORY EXAM BOOKS
We keep the official theory books for ABRSM, Trinity, and Rockschool exams. They are excellent resources for anyone wanting to learn more about music theory, or prepare for an exam. As well as guiding you through the exam format, they give you example questions so you know what to expect. The theory exam books can also be very helpful for students taking GCSE or A Level (or equivalent) music, giving a clear and better understanding of how music works.

Whilst ABRSM and Trinity cater for classical music theory and notation, Rockschool theory offers a slightly different popular music based syllabus. 

THEORY WORKBOOKS
Theory workbooks are a fantastic supplement for those having music lessons at any level, or for those working towards a specific theory grade exam. The more questions you answer, the more prepared you'll be!
