This is a great uke. It looks fantastic in the zebra wood, it sounds deep and rich, it keeps its tune well , feels very well balanced to hold. The top is laminate but it is thinner than most solid tops i have seen, which gives it great resonance and sustain. If I had a gripe it would be that the nut is a bit sharp to the touch. But for the money it is definitely worth a 5 star rating
