Vivaldi Flute Concerto in D
BA6892Vivaldi Flute Concerto in D
"Antonio Vivaldi was sprightly and highly inventive, and he filled almost half the world with his concertos" wrote Quantz in a brief appreciation of Vivaldi a generation later.
It was only by chance that this Flute Concerto In D, which was preserved anonymously in Schwerin truly half a world away from Venice, has been identified as a composition by Vivaldi. Easy to perform, this concerto radiates musical freshness and high spirits.
